Old Town and Town Centre's Hidden Shame12.03.07am BST (GMT +0100) Tue 21st Aug 2007
More than a dozen local back alleys are piled feet high with rubbish attracting fly tipping and arsonists. The Council has refused to 'adopt' or take any responsibility for these alleys. Cllr Stan Pajak said: "These alleys are now a serious threat in some areas. We will be pushing the Council for action. They are not legally obliged to help - but it's the right thing to do!"
